Where we deliver
We deliver up to 15 km (driving distance) from Zaafran at 97 Williams Street, Kaiapoi, including:
- Kaiapoi, The Pines Beach and Kairaki
- Rangiora
- Woodend and Pegasus
- Ohoka, Clarkville and Silverstream
Not sure if you're in range? Add your address at checkout and it'll tell you, or give us a call. Further than 15 km? You're welcome to pick up.
Delivery fees
- $6 within 4 km
- $10 from 4 to 10 km
- $1 per km from 10 to 15 km (for example, 12 km is $12)
The checkout works out the exact fee from your address before you pay.
How long it takes
Delivery takes around 30 minutes or more. Pickup from the restaurant is usually ready in 10–20 minutes.
Order ahead: at checkout, choose "Order ahead" and pick a day and time, up to 7 days ahead. You can even order while we're closed. Online ordering is open 7 days, 11:20 am to 2 pm for lunch and 4 pm to 9 pm for dinner.
What to order
Popular picks include our butter chicken, souvlaki, slow-cooked lamb shank, tagines and signature salads. Every Indian curry comes with basmati rice. Add a naan, or make it a Curry Combo with rice, naan and a soft drink. There's a different Weekly Ritual meal deal every day.
Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are marked on the menu. Every dish is cooked mild unless you ask, and curries, the tagine and the lamb shank let you choose Mild, Medium, Hot or Extreme.

Paying
Online orders, including delivery, are paid securely on the website at checkout. Order direct and you collect a stamp on the Zaafran Loyalty Card with every completed order of $15 or more (one a day).
